FORMER Barry Town player-manager Andy Beattie has taken
charge of Monmouth Town.
Beattie was in charge when Barry won four trophies in 1993-94 – beating
Cardiff City in the Welsh Cup final to add to the Welsh League title,
FAW Trophy and FAW Cup.

STEVE O’SHAUGHNESSY has been appointed the new manager
of Gap Connah’s Quay Nomads. O’Shaughnessy resigned as Caernarfon Town boss
last weekend to take over from sacked Nomads boss Jim Hackett.
