Beattie takes over at Monmouth
FORMER Barry Town player-manager Andy Beattie has taken charge of Monmouth Town.
Beattie was in charge when Barry won four trophies in 1993-94 – beating Cardiff City in the Welsh Cup final to add to the Welsh League title, FAW Trophy and FAW Cup.

Steve O'Shaughnessy takes over as Connah's Quay Nomads manager
STEVE O’SHAUGHNESSY has been appointed the new manager of Gap Connah’s Quay Nomads. O’Shaughnessy resigned as Caernarfon Town boss last weekend to take over from sacked Nomads boss Jim Hackett.

Whelan’s the right man says Porthmadog chief
PORTHMADOG chairman Phil Jones believes new manager Paul Whelan is the right man to lead the club forward after a season of turmoil. The former Glantraeth boss succeeds Viv Williams, who stepped down after keeping the club in the Welsh Premier with a final day victory over Rhyl.
